C6---Applied in vMix Multi-Platform or Multiview Streaming

However, as we know that for some small live production teams and organizations, vMix is not affordable for everyone. We can see on the vMix official website that the HD version is $350, the 4K version is $700 USD, and the Pro version is high up to $1200. One License may be okay, if for multi-platform or Multiview streaming, cost is the thing that users will take into consideration. C6 is an H265 SDI and HDMI dual interface video encoder from CNDLive. It can select any one video source for encoding or combine two signals into PIP and other combination styles of encoding. C6 supports H.264/H.265, NDI|HX 3.0 SRT, RTMP, SNMP and more. It is widely used for scenarios including broadcast and television, sports events, conference recording, house of worship, advanced education and much more.
Application Case:
The client, a technology research organization in Taiwan, organized a conference meeting in 2024. The meeting is divided into two parts, one is to public (the president’s speech) and one is non-public content (internal awards). Therefore, the Facebook live broadcast had to be terminated after the president left the meeting, but the internal awards would continue to be broadcast on YouTube. Since Facebook has to mark it as the end page before the current live broadcast terminated, the content of the YouTube live streaming will be different from that of the Facebook live streaming.
Due to the limited budget of the event organizer, our partner used vMix version 27 (4 external outputs + trigger function) + C6 to realize the need for multi-platform live streaming with different screens.
Application case: Nowadays, some performances are popular for multi-view live streaming, through the VMIX 27 external output (Trigger function) + C6 encoder, it can achieve the function of multi-view multi-view live broadcasting at the same time.
